If you have a prayer request, or a praise report, use the contact form below. A response will be sent from one of the Encounter Ministries team.
For those requesting prayer… The Lord loves you. He suffered on the Cross to provide for whatever your need is, whether it be financial, sickness, pain, mental disease, broken relationships, barrenness, curse, demonic problems, or forgiveness.
Below are some prayers of faith for different situations to help you. God’s power in your life is released as you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. I am also believing with you.
I normally only pray with people at the miracle meetings, and not over the internet etc, as my time is limited. Also there is a wonderful anointing in the meetings for miraculous breakthrough. When you send your request through, myself and partners will believe with you for your need to be met in Jesus mighty Name.
Below I have given some Scriptural promises that may apply to your situation.
May God bless you,
Healing is a promise of God given in the Scriptures. God is faithful to His promises. These promises are accessed by faith. Our faith is built up by meditating on these promises. We receive healing by faith in Jesus Christ. This faith is to be accompanied by patience and perseverance. Faith is shown by asking God to heal, and then by thanking Him for the answer even when it is not seen.
“Father God I ask that you would heal me. I rebuke all sickness, pain, disease and spirits from my body in the mighty Name of Jesus. I receive my healing by faith in Jesus Name. I believe in my heart so that I do not doubt that this is what You are doing now. This is my prayer of faith for which I praise and thank you. Amen”.
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness–by whose stripes you were healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour. (Matthew 8:13)
“Heavenly Father, I recognize that I am a sinner. I ask your forgiveness (take time to confess your sins). Come into my life Lord Jesus as my Saviour. I believe that I am now forgiven, and have eternal life. I thank you that heaven is my home, and God is my loving Father, in Jesus Name. Amen.”
(Luke 18:13; Titus 3:4-5; John 3:14-15; 14:2; 1 John 3:1)
“Father God I am reminded of how much you forgave me. I choose to forgive (name the persons…) for the hurt that they have caused me and others. I pray for them that they would come to repentance. I bless them with the knowledge of the truth. Forgive me also for my unforgiveness and bitterness, in Jesus Name. Amen.”
(Matthew 6:12; 18:21-22; Luke 6:28; Hebrews 12:15)
Father God, I ask that you would supply my needs (name them), according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Lord, I choose to put your kingdom and your righteousness first, and not to worry about money. I thank you that those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing, in Jesus Name, Amen.
(Philippians 4:19; Matthew 6:31-33; Psalm 34:10)
Father God I submit to you, knowing that you have promised to lift me up. I resist the devil, and he must flee from me. I put on the garment of praise and choose to thank and praise you in my situation. I uproot every negative and fearful thought from my mind. I thank you that you love me and accept me. In Christ I am precious and honoured. You cause my heart to abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus mighty Name, Amen.

Lack of Confidence
Father God, I declare that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Greater is He that is within me than he that is in the world. I refuse to let go of my confidence which is of great reward, so that having persevered in the will of God I shall receive your promises. My confidence is not in myself or anything of this world. I declare that Jesus Christ is my sufficiency for every challenge. Amen.
(Philippians 4:13; 1 John 4:4; Hebrews 10:35-36; Philippians 3:3; 2 Corinthians 12:9)
Weariness & stress
Jesus, I come to you just as I am, and receive your rest. I cast all my burdens on you knowing that you care about me. I choose your will for I know it is light. Fill me afresh with your mighty Holy Spirit. I thank you that your grace is sufficient for me, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.
(Matthew 11:28-30; 1 Peter 5:7; Ephesians 5:8; 2 Corinthians 12:9)
Loneliness & isolation
Father I thank you that when Jesus cried out on the cross, “Why have you forsaken me?” that He took my loneliness and gave me fellowship with you. Thank you that nothing can separate me from your love. I am not alone, you are with me. I also ask for fellowship with other Christians with whom I can pray and share. I thank you for this now in Jesus Name. Amen.
(Mark 15:34; Romans 8:35-39; Isaiah 41:10; 1 John 1:7)
“Father God keep me from temptation. Deliver me from evil. Give me the grace to resist peer pressure and not to give in. I choose to set my mind on the Spirit, and not on the flesh. Thank you for your promise that you are faithful, and will not let me be tempted beyond my strength. You have provided the way of escape, no matter what the temptation. I trust you Father, in Jesus Name. Amen.
(Matthew 6:13; 26:41; 1 Corinthians 10:13; Romans 8:5; 12:2)
Marriage & family
“Father God I bring to you my spouse and family. I ask for the protection of the Blood of Jesus from all attack of the enemy that would bring division and temptation. May Jesus Christ be the Head of the house, and His loving Presence fill our home. This is what I receive by faith in Jesus Name, Amen.”
(Exodus 12:23; 1 Corinthians 11:3; Matthew 21:22)
Breaking addiction (I recommend you pray this with another believer)
I repent and confess my sins (name them…). Thank you Father that I am forgiven. I believe that the Blood of Christ cleanses me and that I am free. I ask that the anointing of the Holy Spirit break every addiction off of my life. I cast out every spirit of addiction in the mighty Name of Jesus and declare that I am free. Amen.
(John 1:9; Revelations 1:5; Isaiah 10:27; Matthew 10:1)
Father, I am your child and ask for your mighty protection at my work. You are my refuge and my fortress. I dwell under the shadow of the Almighty. I ask that your angels watch over me and keep me from harm. I have put my trust in you, and therefore I am safe. Thank you Father for your protection, in Jesus wonderful Name, amen.
(Matthew 7:11; Psalm 91:1-2, 11-12; Proverbs 29:25)
Boldness to witness
Father God it is not your will that any should perish, but that all might be saved. I ask that you would empower me by your Holy Spirit to be your witness. Father, by faith I receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. Fill me with the love of God for the lost, that I may boldly speak your Word. Grant me opportunities every day to be your witness. May my good works and personal testimony demonstrate your love. By faith I declare that your Kingdom comes today, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Getting on with others
Father I pray that I would demonstrate the fruit of the Holy Spirit with the people I work. May I show love, patience, self-control and gentleness. May I be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger. May my speech be always gracious, and helpful to others. May I consider the needs of others above my own, and be Christ-like. Father I pray for peace in my work relationships, in Jesus Name I receive it. Amen.
(Galatians 5:22-23, 6:2; Colossians 4:6; James 1:19)
“Father, I recognize that my battle is not against people but against the powers of darkness. I choose to walk in godliness, humility, love and forgiveness. I cast off the works of darkness and clothe myself with the impenetrable armour of Light. The weapons of my warfare are mighty to pull down strongholds. I put on the whole of armour of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Gospel, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. I am a soldier of Christ and having done all I stand in the might of Christ. I am sprinkled with the Blood of Jesus through which I have grace and peace. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ I bind the powers of darkness that have come against me, and declare that they are powerless and under my feet. In Jesus I am more than a conqueror, amen.”
